The three Rotary clubs in Cambridge have a shared history of camaraderie and collaboration, with joint activities that take place the year.  But once every year (since 1998), the three clubs formally come together on an evening to dine and to build goodwill and better friendships.  This year the meeting was held at the Galt Country Club on February 23, 2011.  Our three President-Elects (Don Daggett, Karen Keeling and Pedro Ribeiro) did an excellent job in planning the event.  Our three current Presidents (Stan Jones, Gord McSevney and Larry Hardman) gave inspiring accounts of club activities and triumphs.  Rotary District Governor Elect Brian Carmichael brought greetings and good wishes.  The clubs then awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship to a worthy individual - Frank Chaves, who had started the local fundraiser called "Scoring for Kids" in 2004 to raise money for Cambridge Memorial Hospital.  The evening was then highlighted by an address from Cambridge resident, Martha Deacon, a Canadian Olympic Committee board member and the 2010 Chef De Mission for the Canadian Commonwealth Team in India, who provided us with her insights on the administrative side of running successful games.  Martha Deacon is shown in the inset picture with Cambridge North Rotary Club President-Elect, Don Daggett.
