OPENING CEREMONIES
Our lovely Laureen took to  the podium as President Mike was running late .

Unable to think of his name she said hey you  looking at our illustrious Jody to lead us in a "Rousing Oh Canada "

President Mike arrived in time to make a toast to Canada and Rotary.

Laureen had a sigh of relief her short duty had been completed .

"Thankful"  was the first think that came to mind for the Invocation lead by Peter.  Let us all be Thankful for what we have and the friendships that we share.

TABLE TALK
Table talk covered a wide range of topics  - I was unable to follow all of them .

Paul G was telling us that he had lunch with Liz Hopkins on Tuesday.
She is doing well and said to say hello to everyone and that she misses seeing us .

Of course having  Jerry at our table we did discuss the sales of the hams and cakes and that all is going well the
numbers are coming in.

For some unknow reason we got on the subject  about guns and the licensing here in Canada - ask David he seems
to be the owner of couple of  semi automatics - my advise is only always keep on  his good side. He did mention that
he was heading to Florida for 2 weeks - not sure if he was taking the guns with him or not .

Mike J - mentioned that they would be heading to Disney on Boxing day however not excited about driving
as they left it too late to get flights a reasonable price .
