TABLE TALK
I got so caught up in conversation and food, I forgot to fulfill my role of table eavesdropping. Therefore, nothing to report here.
 
 
 
SERGEANT-AT-ARMS REPORT

 Our Sergeant -at-Arms (was it Sean?) report that we had 14 members out of 22 for lunch. But we had 2 members join us virtually for or board meeting before lunch.That would give us 16 members present (72%).

Fred and Charlene celebrated the 41st wedding anniversary. Fred also enjoyed a nice motorcycle drive home from the cottage.
 
Larry spent a nice weekend at the cottage.
 
Doug was up north and got one last ski in before the boat gets put away.
 
Gerry's mother turned 90 with small celebration.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tim Horton's smile cookies are back and they will be supporting KidsAbility with some of the proceeds ... so indulge in a cookie or two.
 
The car rally will be pushed out to spring 2021 to give us more time to prepare.
 
Gerry has sent out invoices and he will gladly receive your money.
 
A draft budget is/will be available for members to review.
 
Membership - Larry reminded us to follow up with guests that were invited to our open house earlier in the year.
 
Paul Witmer has been reaching out to some our members that have been unable attend our meeting recently.

SERGEANT-AT-ARMS SCHEDULE

The Sgt.‐At‐Arms (SAA) shall mark the attendance sheet, input Guest Names, Visiting Rotarians and Make‐ups submitted by club members, as well as calculate the meeting percentage. You will also give the invocation when requested by the President. At the end of the meeting make sure the Secretary has the “Secretary’s Copy”.

In addition, the SAA shall also fill in the attendance details on the “Bulletin Editor’s Copy” and make sure the editor receives it by the end of the meeting.

The person who is responsible for any Ticket sales shall enter the cash details on the “Treasurer’s Copy”. They shall also collect the Happy Toonies and enter that information on the same sheet. At the end of the meeting they shall give the treasurer the tally sheet along with the cash in an envelope. There is a supply of banker’s envelopes in the tote box.
