Our hosts for the KidsAbility tour were Lisa Talbot and Heather Curran. Here are a few interesting statistics about the Cambridge KidsAbility: - 1692 individuals were seen here (in 2017 I believe) - KidsAbility will see 2000 individuals by 2020. - There is a special needs strategy in place which will see KidsAbility take over 3rd party in-school support over a 2 year period. - Thi new facility will provide social work support, has a youth centre, ha a gym, and has an outdoor playground. -They moved in in september. -The room we met in is named after the Rotary Clubs of Cambridge. The space is available for free for community groups. There is always someone there until 8pm. The rest of the meeting was a tour of the facility. |
