OPENING CEREMONIES
Today's meeting was off-site meeting at the Cambridge KidsAbility Centre on Lang's Drive.
 
As such, President Mike, dispensed with the formalities so that we could eat and then tour the facility.

TABLE TALK
 
We all ate as one big family on one big table. Our hosts, Lisa Talbot and Heather Curran provided some background information on the Cambridge KidsAbility Centre.

We had 11 members present and 2 guests. Our guests were Jake Jennings (who is an alumni of KidsAbility Cambridge) and Greg Rawn, guest of Mike's.

GUEST SPEAKER
Our hosts for the KidsAbility tour were Lisa Talbot and Heather Curran.
 
Here are a few interesting statistics about the Cambridge KidsAbility:
- 1692 individuals were seen here (in 2017 I believe)
- KidsAbility will see 2000 individuals by 2020.
- There is a special needs strategy in place which will see KidsAbility take over 3rd party in-school support over a 2 year period.
- Thi  new facility will provide  social work  support, has a youth centre, ha  a gym, and has  an outdoor playground.
-They moved in in  september.
-The room we met in is  named after the Rotary Clubs  of Cambridge. The space is  available for free for community groups. There is always someone there until 8pm.

NOTES:
The Sgt.‐At‐Arms shall mark the attendance sheet, input Guest Names, Visiting Rotarians and Make‐ups submitted by club members, as well as calculate the meeting percentage. You will also give the invocation when requested by the President. At the end of the meeting make sure
the Secretary has the “Secretary’s Copy”.

In addition, the SAA shall also fill in the attendance details on the “Bulletin Editor’s Copy” and make sure the editor receives it by the end of the meeting.

The person who is responsible for any Ticket sales shall enter the cash details on the “Treasurer’s Copy”. They shall also collect the Happy Toonies and enter that information on the same sheet. At the end of the meeting they shall give the treasurer the tally sheet along with
the cash in an envelope. There is a supply of banker’s envelopes in the tote box.

IF YOU CANNOT MAKE your assigned date, it is your responsibility to arrange for a replacement to take your time slot!! To be sure of your schedule, TELEPHONE your partner the day before.
